Has anyone exprimented with different color profiles for the 4035e series. Which ones have helped. I heard people using Ricoh or toshiba profiles, any luck?

My understanding is that the color profiles are only for the TaskAlfa Saturn series. The 4035E is an older Voyager series.

It loads like new firmware on the copier. I've used the Toshiba color profile on a couple of machines. It alters the colors to mimic the competition, which is not actually closer to a true color reproduction. Typically there is a "warmer" cast to the color tones. It's important if a potential customer has optimized their logo or something to reproduce correctly on their old equipment, and you are coming in with something that doesn't reproduce the competition's flawed color. Otherwise I have no use for it.

Thanks Chris, one ofthe other techs went to a class on the TASKalfa and thought the profiles might have been for other series too.
