Does anyone know how to get a TA 552ci to count pages of a mixed print out of colour and B/W pages, as the colour ones as colour and the B/W one as B/W.
We have a customer who does not like being charged at the colur rate for B/W print outs.

Are you talking about the copy option "Auto Color" or the print option "Print text as black"?

You might have to conduct a controlled experiment to see how the machine tallies each.

Had similar issues on the voyager series, this is controlled from the way you have the driver set up. I think the only way to accomplish this is to select the KPDL language and make sure that "Allow Data Passthrough" is checked. I don't recall trying it with the PLC 5x language.
