I want to turn off JBIG compression on this fax system. Maint mode 699 is the soft switch settings. Switch 36 controls coding format. Bits 0-3 control RX and 4-7 control TX.

0011 0011 is the default setting.

I want to be able to set this for MH,MR,MMR or JBIG. We used to be able to set this on the LDC 500,600,700 series fax machines and it helped on some problems like we are all having with the TA machines. Hotline didn't know but I have emailed the tech reps in my region. Anyone else found out how to set this switch?

0010 0010 turns JBIG compression off in TX and RX.
