I have a customer that is a funeral director. He prints or copies his folder for cusotmers, it has pictures of the deceased on the front of the folder and back. On the first side printed the photos are perfect. On the 2nd side, they have white spots. This machine has done this from day 1. Sometimes better than others. Have changed to every type of paper and problem never completely goes away. ANy suggestions????
Clearly there is not enough transfer current to properly transfer the second side image. It sounds like the folder is outside machine media specs.
If this were me, I'd find a nice heavy paper stock that is not a folder, use the proper media settings, then demonstrate that the machine is functioning properly. It's a media problem. Choose different media. =^..^=

Thanks for the input. Actually he calls them his folders, but it is just a high quality paper. Probably 24 pound at most. Seems to have a real smooth surface.
Well, I put a new transfer roller in, and tried on plain 20lb paper, and still have white dots on the second side copied with photos on. Not terrible, but definately noticeable. Photos on the first side are perfect.
