Have 6000 copies on machine. Customer did couple hundred copy run and got double images from toner sticking to the press roller. The machine has not popped any codes and when I cleaned thre toner off I did 150 + copies without it returning. Customer is going to do a big run this morning. I am expecting them to call as I did nothing to change machine. The Fuser temp comes defaulted at 170 - 175. Seems like not the range for probs to happen. Any suggestions? I am monitoring the power with a sure tester.

The jobs are being done on 20 lb hammermill paper with media type set to plain.

I checked them when I cleaned thr heat and press rollers. Partially disassembled the fuser on last visit. The only thing I can think of is maybe they ran 20lb paper with media setting set to transparency or some other weight that would change fuser temp to wrong heat for reg paper.

Check your error event log to make sure no fuser codes are shown. Had a customer that had fluctuating voltage causing many fuser problems with unexplained offsetting. Ended up replacing the fusing control power pcb (lower left back of machine) and using a power conditioner to even out the voltage.
