Hello guys,
Do you have much experience connecting Kyocera colour mfps with coin boxes? I heard Kyocera uses a serial interface to connect to coin boxes. Can you shed some light how to do this? is this supported? What is the part code for this serial interface? Do you need special firmware to make this work? many thanks in advance for all your help. More power to dealer net. |

in the installation section of the service manual, installing the key counter option, which is complicated on this machine, should give you some insight on the installation of a coin box.

The Key Counter connector won't give you color count and B&W. You need the serial connector for that. I think it is on the engine board. A harness comes with the Jamex coin box.

Hi FLSTS,
Sorry for my late reply and many thanks for your info. Have you done this before? On the engine board there is only a 4-pin connector available for the Key counter wire. How will the serial interface connect to the TASKalfa? Do you have a photo of the actual serial cable or do i need to contact Jamex direct? Thanks again. |
