If I could get some feed back are dealers selling these and how are they running ? "do they have alot of problems" Do they handle large file sizes on print side spooling faster then the Kyocera Ta 400ci or 500ci print controller ? Thanks for the feed back !
have a few out. Have a 650c that is doing about 32k a mounth and has about 400k on it mostly color.T fuser seems to be the weak spot. The fuser belt gets dirty and get lines on it, but with a little maint its not that bad. The pm is a little labor and parts intense. Color is good but not great, better than the 400ci. Print sys is good and is faster than the 500ci. Need to have a trained tech because this is not like any machine km has out. Parts are slow to get from km but thats nothing new.
We replaced a couple of 500ci's with these because of slow spooling issues; fuser is labor intensive at pm, the rest isn't too bad. Doc. processor isn't up to Kyocera's standards. As Mark B said, no longer available unless you know the right people.
Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt

the class was ok, spent a lot of time on color theory. the hands on really helped when you get out in the field. You will remove all the assembley and spend a lot of time on the fuser. the handbook you get is good. the books are written differant but when you get used to them they have a lot of info. more time needs to be spent on how to do pm and how to reset codes and maint items
The embedded controller is plenty fast enough; I wouldn't use the fiery unless the customer knows about fierys and really has an urgent need for it's features.
