What is the best setting to get a smaller file size with decent quality when scanning to a pdf? I've tried looking up a few things but can't really find anything TASKalfa related. So figured I'd ask around for some different tips.

Make sure you set the default to Black and White scans if color isn't important. Color is the default for scanning.

Black and white and ocr setting at 300dpi seems to be the best setting for small file size leaving it completely legible.
