I have a PF-800 and I am trying to run A4 through it when I put it on a machine and set the guides to A4 the mac hine still wants to call it letter. On the box it says PF-800 then there is an L with a checked box then there is an A and an unchecked box. In metric areas is the A box checked?

Usually the machine destination setting determines the system of measurements (which would mean either metric or imperial - not both on the same machine, including original size detection)
I steer clear of non=kma built boxes so I don't know how these work, but that's been the case for almost every brand I've ever serviced.
Scotty that was true back in the olden days but not now like the 6030 that was at this account before the drawers were set like this:A4, Letter, A3 and ledger. When printing to the machine it would chose the right size but not copying. The 650c will recognize both inch and metric through the feeder and printing. The problem is that I am having problems setting the PF-800 to A4 size. I cannot use the universal trays because there is A3 in one and 11x17 in the other.
