i have a new 400ci in the feild that has been in for about a montha and last week it was giving a warning saying that the room temp. was to low and to turn up the heat, it is in a heated office with average temperatures, it did not cause any issues and went away with a shutdown and restart just wondering if any of you guys have ran across this???
Yep, I had this on TA 500ci series. Not sure what initiated it, other than the fact it was sitting right below the AC duct in the room. The sensor that monitors the ambient room temp is apparently located near the front right hand side of the copier. The AC duct was directly over it. You can look at what this sensor is actually reading in Maintenance Mode U139 "Displaying the temperature and humidity outside the machine". The one I had the call on were reporting "0" for both the temp and humidity, excecuted a U906 and these changed dramatically.
