Is any one else having issue with the fusers? We have had 5 machines with gears breaking and bearings causing trouble. If so what are you doing to fix trouble.

The best way to fix Sharp fusers (which have been using the same weasily fuser bearings for at least 15 years) is to sell the customer a real machine.

The fact is that the bearings NEVER last. If you drop the fusing temperature you can buy some time. The gears break because they're stressed out by the bad bearings.

My advice - buy a lot of extra bearings and replace them if they are discolored at all. Katun has identical bearings for a LOT less.
