Can anyone set me up with scan instructions on how to get this model to scan to a file on the server. crijd@yahoo.com Is it hard or easy I have no clue, I do kyocera no problem.Any input on what to do would help. Thank you
Haven't done this model specifically - but in the past they've always used 'Sharpdesk'.
Other than taking a while to install it's extremely easy. Sharpdesk on the workstation 'Pushes' the address book entries to the MFP.
Wish SFU were as easy, but Sharpdesk is also licensed per PC and is bundled with the baloney image editing software (much like PaperPort) which is dead weight in my opinion and wastes a lot of installation time.
I'm not positive, but I don't think SMB is an option. Sharpdesk is the only way to go. It installs and runs a lot like our SFU, so I'm thinking it's FTP. =^..^=
